Sigma is where the NewSigma community creates and shares memes. Weekly Sigma is NewSigma's recurring Meme Creator recognition programme, created to recognise an eligible creator at the end of each competition week.

1. What is Weekly Sigma?

At the end of each competition week, an eligible Meme Creator may be recognised as the Sigma of the Week. The creator may receive recognition on NewSigma and merchandise or another non-monetary reward announced for the relevant competition period.

2. Competition Week

Each competition week begins at 12:00:00 AM IST on Friday and ends at 11:59:59 PM IST on the following Thursday, inclusive.

3. Merchandise Eligibility

Weekly Sigma uses a dynamic merchandise eligibility threshold rather than a single fixed Danks number.

For each completed competition week, NewSigma determines the applicable threshold using the size of the Sigma community during that competition week. The threshold is based on NewSigma's platform-scale methodology and may change from one competition week to another as the Sigma community grows or changes.

For merchandise eligibility, the qualifying meme must receive at least the applicable threshold in eligible Danks during the relevant competition week.

Only eligible Danks are counted. NewSigma may exclude engagement that it determines to be fraudulent, manipulated, purchased, bot-generated, duplicated, technically invalid or otherwise ineligible under the Meme Creator & Reward Guidelines.

Recognition as Sigma of the Week and merchandise eligibility are separate. A creator may be recognised as the Sigma of the Week even if the applicable merchandise threshold is not reached. The merchandise reward is not unlocked unless the threshold and all other applicable eligibility and programme requirements are satisfied.

The applicable merchandise eligibility threshold may be communicated through the Platform or relevant creator interface for the competition period.

4. Who Can Participate?

Participation is subject to the requirements in the Meme Creator & Reward Guidelines. In general, a participant must:

• Be legally eligible to participate in the relevant programme and receive the applicable reward.
• Have an active NewSigma account in good standing.
• Comply with the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Meme Creator & Reward Guidelines.
• Meet any additional eligibility requirements announced for the relevant competition.
• Not be subject to a suspension, reward disqualification or other restriction that makes the participant ineligible.

5. How Weekly Sigma Is Determined

NewSigma may consider eligible engagement and programme-specific signals. Depending on the applicable competition, these may include Danks, genuine engagement, shares, meaningful interactions, participation during the competition period and other signals disclosed by NewSigma.

Displayed rankings are not necessarily final rankings. Eligible results may be validated after the competition period.

6. Genuine Participation Matters

NewSigma may exclude engagement or content that is fraudulent, manipulated, bot-generated, purchased, duplicated, technically invalid or otherwise inconsistent with the programme rules.

• Bots or automated accounts used for artificial engagement
• Fake or multiple accounts used to manipulate outcomes
• Purchased Danks, views, likes, comments or shares
• Engagement-exchange groups used for artificial ranking
• Self-voting through alternate accounts
• Coordinated attempts to inflate or suppress another creator
• Bug or system exploitation

7. Originality and Prior Publication

Do not knowingly present previously published content as newly created content where the programme rules make that content ineligible. NewSigma may review Prior Publication claims using available timestamps, source material, metadata and other relevant evidence.

A verified Prior Publication finding may affect Weekly Sigma eligibility, rankings, recognition or rewards.

8. Rewards

The eligible Sigma of the Week may receive recognition on NewSigma. Where the merchandise eligibility threshold and all other applicable requirements are satisfied, the creator may receive the merchandise or non-monetary reward announced for the relevant competition. Merchandise may vary, and additional claim, verification, delivery or eligibility requirements may apply.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, reward merchandise is not a purchase, has no cash value and is generally not exchangeable for cash.

9. Validation and Forfeiture

Weekly Sigma results may be validated after the competition period. NewSigma may review engagement authenticity, account eligibility, content eligibility, Prior Publication findings, moderation history, technical issues and suspected manipulation.

Eligibility may be lost where the applicable Terms, Community Guidelines or programme rules are violated, or where content or engagement is later determined to be ineligible.

10. Being a Meme Creator Is Not Employment

Weekly Sigma and Meme Creator programmes are recognition and reward programmes. Participation does not create an employment, agency, partnership or contractor relationship with NewSigma and does not guarantee income, continued recognition or future rewards.

11. Programme Rules and Changes

Weekly Sigma operates under the Meme Creator & Reward Guidelines. NewSigma may modify, pause, suspend or discontinue the programme, including eligibility criteria, calculation methods, reward types or competition periods, subject to applicable law. Changes will generally apply prospectively unless a correction or integrity action requires otherwise.
