How to report copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property concerns on NewSigma
NewSigma Technologies Private Limited | https://newsigma.in/
1. Purpose
NewSigma respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. This Policy provides a practical process for reporting content that you believe infringes copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights.
2. Who May Submit a Report
A rights holder or a person authorized to act on behalf of a rights holder may submit a report. Reports should be made in good faith and should contain accurate information.
3. Information to Include
- Your full name and contact details, and your authority to act if you represent another person or entity.
- A description of the copyrighted work, trademark or other right you claim is being infringed.
- A URL, post identifier or other information sufficient for NewSigma to locate the allegedly infringing content.
- A brief explanation of why the content is believed to infringe the relevant right.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or law.
- A statement that the information in the report is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature, where applicable.
4. How to Submit
Send copyright or intellectual-property complaints to legal@newsigma.in with the subject line "IP Complaint". NewSigma may also provide an in-app reporting form or web form. Use the dedicated channel for intellectual-property complaints rather than the general support address where possible.
5. Review and Action
NewSigma may review the complaint and may remove, restrict, disable access to, label or otherwise act on the reported material where appropriate. NewSigma may request additional information or evidence. Nothing in this Policy requires NewSigma to determine disputed legal rights beyond what is appropriate for the Platform process.
6. Notification and Counter-Submissions
Where appropriate and permitted by law, NewSigma may notify the uploader or affected account about a complaint and may provide a mechanism to submit a response or counter-submission. NewSigma may consider both sides and any applicable law before determining the appropriate action.
7. Repeat Infringers
NewSigma may restrict or permanently close accounts that repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual-property rights or repeatedly submit clearly abusive IP complaints.
8. False or Abusive Complaints
Knowingly false, fabricated or malicious complaints may violate the Terms of Service and may result in enforcement action. NewSigma may retain records of complaints and responses for legal, safety, dispute-resolution and Platform-integrity purposes.
9. Relationship With Other Policies
This Policy works together with the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The Terms determine the licence granted by users to NewSigma, while this Policy explains the complaint process. Applicable law prevails.
